So, Jr. High ministry is going well, I thank God for doing some pretty cool things in the hearts of many of the youth. Sometimes I wish I could see their hearts, but then other times I'm glad I can't. But, I am truly grateful that God can, and does actively pursue those He has called. Isn't that amazing? I just hope that our ministry can help give them the tools to live faithfully to God for the rest of their lives. I fear for them, and over the fact that they are immersed in an even more self-centered world as the days go by. Many are pulled already to a deceitfully interesting, bright, rich, and popular world. Heck, that's what I'm struggling with as well. Fighting to be in this world and not of it. Today I realize this--the importance of prayer...ferverant prayer. Only God can give us new passions for Himself and His kingdom. And only He can conquer our old passions that tend to creep back everyday.
